Prime minister Cvijanović received a delegation of the Red Cross
Minister of the Government of the Republic of Srpska Željka Cvijanović received today in her off a delegation of the Red Cross of the Republic of Srpska.
Delegation of the Red Cross led by secretary general Đoko Mihajlović informed the prime minister about carried out humanitarian, educational and other activities of the organization, and projects that need to be implemented during this year.
In the meeting there was also discussion about problems faced by the representative of the Red Cross in its operations and featured the need for better legal solutions to facilitate and improve the work of this organization, based on the fundamental values of humanism and solidarity.
Prime minister on this occasion expressed satisfaction with the work and efforts of the Red Cross of the Republic of Srpska who has confirmed in many occasions the number of activities and results, and evaluated very positive role that the Red Cross had during the period of floods in the Republic of Srpska.
Prime minister Cvijanović accentuated that the Red Cross is an important and indispensable partner of the Government in the field of humanitarian action and underlined the commitment of the Government to provide full support to this organization by the relevant ministry, under whose auspices the Red Cross operates and conducts its human mission.
Meeting also attended minister of health and social protection of the Republic of Srpska Dragan Bogdanović and minister of finance RS Zoran Tegeltija.
